How Afrizar works

Step 1 Register in less than 5 mins

- Click on "Open Your Afrizar Shop"

- Complete the information on the Business Owner 

- Indicate how you will like to be paid: PayPal/WesternUnion/MoneyGram (Sellers outside of US) or Bank Information (US Sellers only). Please note payment is issued only after a valid tracking number is updated in the System. Please allow 2-4 days for processing. For new sellers to the site, as a security measure, payment may sometimes be issued once Customer confirm receipt of the product.

- Accept the Terms and Conditions And click  Submit

Step 2

- List your Products, Add Pictures and You are open for business

- Once your Product sells and you ship it, in your Seller Portal update Order status to ship and add tracking and delivery date. Customer will get an email with tracking information. You will receive your payment in your account of choice you selected during signup​​

Seller Frequently Asked Questions


With Afrizar, our easy-to-use and secure payment system, you can accept payments from different types of payment methods including credit, debit cards, and PayPal. Funds from your sales are deposited directly into your account of choice (Paypal, Bank, WesternUnion/MoneyGram). Please note for any funds to be paid out to a Seller, a valid tracking number must be updated in the system with expected delivery date (some international orders may not have the exact date). Once this this completed funds will generally be released within 2-3 days into your selected method of payment.

Joining and starting a shop on Afrizar is free, unlike other Marketplace, there is no listing fees 

We charge a flat 5% Transaction Fees and a credit card processing fee of 2.9% (within US) and 3.9% (International)+$.30 per transaction. Example if your item is $100, once it sells, you will get $100-((5%+2.9%) + $.30 ) = $91.8




Create an account as a seller (if you don’t already have one), by accessing the Sell link. Add your name,address, add your shop name, add your payment method (how you want to be paid)

  1. As a Seller on Afrizar, you are expected to state your returns, refunds and exchange policies clearly in your profile and also when adding products.
  2. Below is a Refund/Exchange Policy sample
    1. We ship within 1 - 3 days once order is received
    2.  We ship worldwide, but shipping cost may vary for orders outside of the US
    3. Return Policies - No Refunds. We gladly accept exchanges if you are not happy with your order. Order must be shipped back within 5 days of receipt. Product must be in its original form. You will be responsible for any shipping cost
  3. You are expected to fulfill your policies and any agreement you make with a buyer outside of your stated policies
  4. If you have an issue with a transaction, please always try to contact the buyer directly to resolve. Buyers are also encouraged to do the same


  1. When adding products, in the shipping & Policies section, you will add your policies as to whether you accept refunds. If you don’t accept refunds on a particular product or on all products, this section doesn’t apply to you.
  2. You will be required to issue a refund, if the error is on your side. Example: if the product you advertise is not what was sent to the Customer. Follow the steps below on issuing a refund.

How To refund a PayPal payment

1.    Log in to your Afrizar account.

2.    Click on your name on the top of the page and click on the Sellers Orders

3.     Find and click the Order that you wish to refund.

3.    Click refund

4.    You'll receive a refund of your PayPal fees based on the type and amount of the refund you issue.

5.    If the buyer used a credit card without logging in to a PayPal account (in other words, if they used PayPal Guest Checkout), the refund will go back to their credit or debit card. It can take up to 30 days for the refund to show up on their card statement.

Note: If the order being refunded has already been paid to your paypal account, you will be required to send the same amount to Afrizar. For more information, send an email to


  1. Click on the Seller-Signup link
  2. The seller sign up page will display, with details around the benefits of Afrizar. To begin signup, click on the Open Your Afrizar Shop. This will open the Business Owner form.
  3. Enter all the fields
  4. Enter the following fields < About Me,  website, upload a picture if you wish, Company/Business name/Shop name>
  5. Select the category and sub category for products you will mainly be selling. You just need to select one, but once you start adding products you can add products to different categories/sub categories
  6. Enter the PayPal email id (Sellers outside of the US, indicate whether you want to use Money Gram, WesternUnion or a different way (must be an approved method of payment)
    1. This is how you will get paid when customers purchase your products. Funds will be available to your paypal account every 2 weeks
    2. For steps on how to sign up for PayPal check the section on how to sign up with PayPal
    3. For International sellers, enter the paypal email id and not your bank details
  7. Enter an email and a password
  8. Select the “I agree with the Terms and Conditions”
  9. Click on the Sign Up button
  10. A pop up will display stating user has signup up successfully and to access your email and follow the link to activate your account.
  11. Access your inbox and click on the link to activate your account
  12. A pop up will display stating “Thank you for activating your account and you will be logged in to your account and the below screen below will display. You can now start adding Products. Steps are below
